LRD Education organises Science Trails at various locations around Singapore where we can design and customize trail contents based on the current Science syllabus. Our Signature activities include:
Natural Science Trail to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Embark on an enriching Natural Science Trail to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, where discovery meets conservation in the heart of nature! The objective of this programme is to cultivate a deep appreciation for the ecological wonders of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve among students. Through immersive experiences, we foster an understanding of the vital role mangrove forests play in sustaining biodiversity and supporting local communities

Garden Trail to Singapore Botanic Gardens
Embark on a captivating Garden Trail to the iconic Singapore Botanic Gardens, where nature's beauty intertwines with Singapore's rich history! The objective of the trail is to immerse students in the botanical wonders and historical significance of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Our programme aims to foster an appreciation for the Gardens' role in Singapore's heritage, development, and its pivotal contribution to transforming the city into a lush Garden City.

Ecology Program
Dive into the wonders of Coastal Wetland & Seashore Ecology, a program designed to connect students with the dynamic ecosystems of our shorelines!
The objective of this programme is to immerse students in the coastal wonders and foster an understanding of the delicate balance in seashore and wetland environments. Our program aims to instill environmental consciousness by highlighting the challenges faced by organisms in these critical ecosystems. Some of the Signature Activities include:

Terrarium-Making Workshop
In this workshop, students will learn how to make a terrarium during a 2-hour workshop. Materials will be pre-packed and students will be guided to assemble these items together. While creating the terrarium, they will understand more about topics like water, photosynthesis, filtration and how the terrarium helps to cleanse water without the use of chemicals. They will also learn values such as patience, foresight, vision and creativity while designing their terrariums.
